ARTEMISIA is a solo project performance moniker by Audrey.

She is a figure of the american backwoods, who is curious about fear, shadow, and desire.

ARTEMISIA| encounter (work in progress) was a performance presented by the Queering Dance Festival at Counterpulse in March 2025 exploring shadow, fracture, and redemption within American identity, mythologies, and obsessions. ARTEMISIA|encounter was supported by a development residency and performed in October 2025 at Andy Arts in Detroit, in a split bill with artist Trishawna Woods.

On a journey through the backwoods of self, ARTEMISIA works with the bitter medicine of truth and invites descent into the depths and muck of our shadow.

ARTEMISIA is in development and research towards a full length production. The work is available for residency, touring, and funding support. Contact for booking and support inquiries.
